- Thorough Vacuuming: Hoover all carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture, paying close attention to cracks, crevices, and along skirting boards. Empty the vacuum cleaner bag outside immediately.
- Laundry: Wash all pet bedding, blankets, and any affected linen on a hot wash cycle (at least 60°C).
